After careful consideration, founding member and pianist Virginia Sircy has decided to retire from Words&Music. Virginia has been a college professor, concert pianist as both soloist and chamber musician, organist, orchestral conductor, opera director, and choir director. As a teacher, she served as Professor of Music at Cameron University, Mississippi College, and William Woods College and the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. Virginia remains active making music, recording, and advocating for the arts.

We are excited to welcome pianist Daniel Lau who previously collaborated with Virginia and Words&Music on Lori Laitman's song cycle, "Are Women People?", written for vocal quartet and piano four-hands.

Tenor Tae Min Cha was a last-minute replacement for our “Let’s Dance” series last fall, saving the day while performing splendidly. We look forward to having Tae and Daniel as members of Words&Music for many years!
