Tenor
Tae Min Cha is a Korean-American tenor who performs and teaches throughout the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. He has appeared in roles of various opera productions such as Martin in The Tender Land, Nelson Deadly in Too Many Sopranos, Ferrando in Cosi fan Tutte, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Lord Bishop in Children of the Sun, an East Coast Premier of the opera, Monostatos in Papageno!, Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas, and more.
Outside of performances, Cha teaches voice in his private studio in Columbia, Maryland, holds a contracted voice faculty position at International School of Music, and recently joined the voice faculty at Washington Adventist University. He teaches voice not only to approach the Classical genre, but also Musical Theater, Pop, K-pop, Gospel, and Contemporary Christian Music.
Cha has various experiences teaching a wide range of age groups, beginner to intermediate, and casual to professional levels.
